Singing Chair, 2017

For this work a chair was placed in front of another artist’s video work in a group exhbition. Attached to the back and botom of the chair were two contact mics that picked up the sounds of people movement whilst in the chair, these sounds were then played through a speaker that was place in the entrance to the gallery. Due to the distance between the chair and the speaker, the person in the chair was unable to hear the noise they were creating.
